Hazuki Kyoto Hotel

Authentic Japanese Machiya Stay in Kyoto's Shimogyo Ward

Traditional Accommodations

Hazuki Kyoto offers air-conditioned rooms in a traditionally-decorated Japanese house situated between the Kamogawa River and Takase Canal in the Shimogyo Ward. All rooms have private bathrooms with showers and free toiletries, while the property features a hot tub and a shared kitchen. The inn provides luggage storage and free WiFi throughout the building.

Location & Surroundings

The inn is located 20 minutes on foot from Kiyomizu-dera Temple and the Gion District, two major sightseeing destinations in Kyoto. Kyoto International Manga Museum is 1 mile from the property, and Tofuku-ji Temple is 2.1 mile away. The nearest airport is Itami Airport, 24 miles from Hazuki Kyoto.

Wellness & Relaxation

Hazuki Kyoto has a hot tub and a public bath for guests to use after a day of exploring Kyoto. Guests can reserve the large communal bath, which comes with auto-filling tub large enough for two people. Floor heating under the tatami mats keeps the room warm during colder months.

Guest Services

The owner at Hazuki Kyoto provides luggage storage and can assist with luggage forwarding via the takyubin service. A shared kitchen on the ground floor offers a water cooler, tea, coffee, microwave, toaster, fridge, and dishes. The property is located on a quiet street within walking distance to the subway station (Kiyomizu-gojo on the Keihan line) and numerous restaurants.

Family-Friendly Accommodations

Hazuki Kyoto offers family rooms, including premium triple rooms and one-bedroom suites that can accommodate up to four people. The tatami mats and futons on heated floors provide comfortable sleeping arrangements for multiple guests.
